Jason is the Worship Arts Pastor at Park Assembly of God in St. Louis Park, MN. He has also filled in as a worship leader at Woodcrest Church in Eagan, MN and Renewal Vineyard in Crystal, MN. He has also worked with Park, Woodcrest Church, and The Grove Church in Maple Grove, directing and mentoring their youth worship bands to go deeper.

Jason played bass in a worship band called Pure Heart when he lived in Duluth, MN that concentrated on bringing various Christian denominations together in worship to unite their community. He also led worship for the local chapter of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at the College of St. Scholastica. After college, he moved to the Minneapolis area. Jason played bass for Cities Vineyard and in a worship band called Carpetbomb that won the New Union’s Midwest Band Tournament and played many conferences and festivals in Minnesota and Wisconsin. After Cities Vineyard closed their doors (and Carpetbomb retired), Jason and family went to North Metro Vineyard in Brooklyn Park, MN, which later was known as “Bluer”, where he was one of the worship leaders on rotation.

Jason began to attend Park Assembly in 2008, where he played bass for their worship team. He became one of their worship leaders in 2010, and has led there since, taking over the department in 2014. While at Park, he began to host “Come… Find Sanctuary” nights of worship and prayer, bringing Christian denominations together for their communities. As time went by, however, God called him to go deeper still. He brought together the Biblical principles of worship and intercession and how they are closely connected. Since that time, worship nights have been combined with prayer, and prayer nights with worship, including hosting a 48 hour prayer, worship, and fasting retreat.

Contact us if you are in the Twin Cities area, and want to host a night of worship and intercession or a prayer and fasting retreat with Jason in your church.
